PostHeaderIcon Acne During the “Time of the Month”

For many women, their skin, particularly the face, is a great indicator that Aunt Flo’s visit is due very soon.  In my case, I start to get zits and skin breakouts on my cheeks and forehead a day or two before the red flag is hurled up.  Acne during this point is caused by hormonal fluctuations that occur in the body during the menstrual cycle so it’s something that we have no control of.  The good news is that this only last a day or two although for some, the blemishes vanish after quite some time.

There are simple ways to somehow ease or minimize the occurrence of acne during menstruation.  These include getting amount of exercise to remove toxins in the body thereby helping to clear the skin, drinking plenty of water, getting enough sleep or rest, eating the right diet with lots of fruits and veggies and eating fresh or frozen cherries for breakfast.  (Cherries are good internal cleansers).

When these skin blemishes surface, there are also various skin care products that are readily available in the market for instant use and fast clearing.  There are make up removers, cleansers, scrubs, moisturizers and toners.  Lots of helpful information about these stuff as well as health and beauty tips  and personal care can be found at the brilliant site of Shopwiki.co.uk.  Should you find yourself clueless which product or brand to choose, consulting first a dermatologist is the smartest thing to do.
