I love planning the birthday parties of my kids. It can get overwhelming just thinking about the nitty gritty details but those are the things that give the whole planning experience worthwhile and fun. From figuring out the best theme, canvassing and booking party suppliers, planning the celebrant’s outfit, visualizing the program flow to executing the DIY or Do-It-Yourself decors and giveaways. There are so many things to think about when planning a party and because of these inclusions, it’s undeniable that a party entails much costs. However, there are several ways and points where savings can be made and prove that not all parties are expensive.
DIY Tokens or Souvenirs
Creating your own souvenirs and personalized labels will save you a lot of money. You can design and print labels to attach on the container or on the packaging as a thank you note or a tag that contains the name of the celebrant, party date and venue. Including photos of the celebrant is also great. If you do not have a printer or doesn’t have the artistic skills to design labels, you can conveniently order online for custom printed labels and stickers. The total cost would still be cheaper since custom labels and stickers are relatively cheap not to mention, they will save you tremendous amount of time and effort.
* You can source for wholesale containers or mini-bottles and fill it up with chocolates or candies that kids would certainly love. Small personalized stickers will be the perfect embellishment to complete the packaging of the souvenir.
* Non-perishable favors such as mugs and mini-baskets can be stuffed with a small toy like a teddy bear. A custom label can either be attached to the handles or it can also be stuck on the mug itself.
* Edible items are always a hit as a party favor since the guests can consume it unlike non-perishable items that might just end up on the counter or in the cabinet as a display. Home-made cookies, brownies, chocolates and cakes can be wrapped in fancy papers or boxes and sealed with custom stickers.
