PostHeaderIcon Cousins.

Our Serendra and Boni High Street visit last Saturday not only allowed us, sisters, to bond but also Little A and her 10 month old cousin, Leela. Look how he lovingly pushed around his cousin’s stroller while the little fellow enjoyed the ride.

Little A’s wit at this stage really never fails to amaze me. I just bought him 2 My First Words Books and a box of animal flash cards last Friday and guess what, he has already mastered and can correctly associate 20 out of 32 pictures of animals with their names (and vice versa). He has certainly deepened his vocabulary these past few weeks and he can even now convey his thoughts in two to three word sentences. He can now count (recite) from 1 to 15 with a little help on 11 and 12. I’m now coaching him his ABCs but so far he can just recite from A to D. He can follow and pronounce each letter though when guided. What’s funny is that whenever he sees words with big letters, he spells them while pointing to the letters and he goes like "A..B..C…eben, eyt, nay, ten!" He mixes his letters and numbers. LOL. But at least, he knows already the concept of reading, right?

PostHeaderIcon Pedia Visit

Little A finally got his flu shot last Saturday. He was supposed to have it since last March but it’s only now that the clinic got a stock of the vaccine. It’s also been a while since he was last seen by his Pedia. He’s actually through and updated with all his immunizations so he has graduated as well from monthly well baby checkups. At almost 26 months of age, his multivitamins and vit C dosages were increased. No more drops. He now will be taking syrup instead. He’ll still drink Enfagrow A for his formula milk. He’s also given the go signal to drink the ordinary purified water instead of the much expensive distilled Wilkins.

It saddens me that I can not update this blog as much as I want to. As you know, my writing workload has increased tremendously so my blogs were kinda affected.  Anyway, let me blog a little about the recent adventures of the little boy.

Baby You Can Drive My Car

My toddler, being a boy, is understandably fascinated with cars…either toy cars or big real cars. The picture above was taken just this morning when his Daddy has to get off the car to withdraw from an ATM while we wait inside the vehicle. It’s automatic for Asher to take his Daddy’s vacant seat and "drive" the car by moving the steering wheel. He also likes honking the horn.

As for his toy car, he certainly loves driving it…

and carrying it around when gets bored of driving it.
