Handsome Like Daddy
Yesterday, we attended the first birthday of husband’s officemate’s son. It was a super hero costume party but since little A doesn’t have one and his Halloween costume for this year hasn’t arrived yet from the US, he just went clad in an interesting "controversial" shirt.
It was actually eye-catching and he even stole a few minutes of limelight. The party host noticed the caption and even asked him where his "handsome Daddy" is. The husband laughed and was blushing the whole time because the little one, in obedience approached the husband as if he presented his daddy to the crowd and is really proud of him. Bwahaha! Turned out, this is way more interesting than a costume.
And yeah, no need to ask who bought that shirt because it’ll be a rhetorical question. LOL.
Haven’t uploaded the party pictures to my Flickr gallery so watch out for that soon.
Father and Son.
As early as now, I just know that my little boy and his daddy will share lots of common interests, precious bonding time will be very well spent when he grows up and I am very certain that they will be extra close. My husband can be very thrifty but when it comes to his unico hijo, he doesn’t scrimp. He buys him toys, apparels and whatever stuff he deems and feels like buying for the little one. I cannot totally say yet that he’s spoiling him but I have a hunch that he will in a few years from now.
They share a special bond that sometimes, I can’t help myself to get jealous. The little one can now clearly enunciate "daddy" and he mumbles it often whenever he sees his daddy arrive from work or sometimes, even random times of the day when he isn’t around. When he sees his pictures, he points at them and says "daddy" in a longing tone. Although he’s more clingy to me, his sparkling eyes when he sees his Daddy is pure delight and bliss.
