PostHeaderIcon The Most Difficult Yet Most Rewarding Job

Work-at-home (WAHMs) and stay-at-home (SAHMs) moms, indeed, have the most difficult yet rewarding jobs.  We manage the household chores, take care of the kids, and in the case of WAHMs (like me), fulfill their work to help augment the family income.  It may appear an easy and a laid-back life because we’re practically just staying at home and we can do whatever they like.  But in reality, it isn’t.  It may be convenient because we’re just staying at home but if you’ll go through our day to day routine, you’d realize that 24 hours in a day is too short.  The cliché, “so many things to do, so little time” is very apt to us because certainly, time isn’t always enough to accommodate all the tasks that we have up in our sleeves.  We even barely have time for ourselves that putting on face moisturizer is considered a luxurious time already.  But nevertheless, it is also the most fun and most rewarding job in the world.  Nothing beats the experience of being with your kids 24 x 7, being able to take care of them personally and seeing them grow first hand.  That alone, is the greatest form of “paycheck” a parent can receive.

PostHeaderIcon Tops That Flatter The Postpartum Tummy

I can still recall how hunting for a top that will flatter my postpartum tummy was such a challenging task two months after giving birth.  I was then preparing for my son’s christening and I couldn’t fit in any of my pre-pregnancy pants, skirts and clothing so I had to hit the mall and scour endlessly for cheap yet attractive tops that would camouflage my motherly midsection.  It would have been easier if moms could just pop in fat burners that work but of course, such formulas are a no-no for someone who’s just delivered a baby or a lactating mom.

Anyway, here are some budget-friendly Forever 21 chic options that can hide those flesh spilling over the waistbands:

1.) Forever 21’s Sleeveless tiered Satin Tank ($19.80)

PostHeaderIcon Book Recommendation for Work At Home Moms

chicken-sou-for-the-soulThe Chicken Soup For The Soul Power Moms is a compilation of inspirational, poignant, humorous and witty stories from mothers who are in the same boat as mine.  This book is about and for work at home moms.  We are called the Power Moms because multi tasking and juggling together mommy  and work duties is such a tremendous feat.

This book features topics on making the challenging decision to stay home, learning to juggle, finding joy and self-esteem in everyday moments, creating at-home jobs and businesses and my most favorite part, the perspectives from grateful husbands and children.

So aside from references about cla tonalin reviews, this book should be a staple in your bookshelf and of course, be read amidst one’s overly busy juggling acts.

PostHeaderIcon Toddler Tantrums

Seriously, if I’m on the heavier side, I won’t need any diet energy pills to trim body weight down fast because keeping up with my 2 year old son’s tantrums would be enough.  His defiance can really drive me and the husband crazy that we sometimes end up wanting to wail along with him in frustration.  I believe this is really the phase when parents are taught to become more patient and understanding.  Otherwise, the kid’s tantrums will be contagious and everybody in the house including the parents will also become grumpy and cranky if the situation is mishandled.

SP

Parenthood is a constant process of learning and one way of enriching this experience is by reading enlightening parenting magazines and books just like those published by Summit Books’ Smart Parenting.  I have all three of their books:

1.) The Smart Mom’s Guide to Pregnancy and Baby’s First Year

2.) The Smart Mom’s Guide to the Toddler Years

3.) The Smart Parenting Yaya Manual

I find all three really informative and with my toddler son who’ll be a Preschooler soon, this book “The Smart Mom’s Guide to Raising Your Preschooler” will surely be a great reference.  I expect it to be as comprehensive as the apidexin reviews I’m reading now.  The said book is filled with games, books, snack recipes and lots of fun activities for the preschooler kids.  I wonder if it also has a listing of the different pre-schools in the metropolis.  That would really be of great help to first time preschooler moms just like me.  This book is available at all leading bookstores nationwide for just Php 299.  I better grab a copy for myself soon!
