I can still vividly remember how excited I was when my son was born. Prior to giving birth, I was actually planning two major events that would take place once he is out – his baptism and eventually, his first birthday celebration. To lessen the stress brought about by party planning, I enlisted the help of reliable party suppliers and I am happy to report that they did not disappoint me. However, to be cost-effective, I plan on buying party supplies in our subsequent events. Settling The Bills
It’s that time of the month again when I have to log on to my online bank account and pay the bills. Yep, I pay ours online. I figured it’s really convenient, hassle-free, definitely safe, easy and fast. I don’t need to get out of the house, spend on transpo costs and queue impatiently in long lines. So I’m really thankful how the internet has allowed us to do banking even at home.
Since our bills have different cover periods, due dates and they get in the mailbox at different times, I have devised my personal routine when it comes to organizing these so as not miss paying any of them before the due dates. I have also come up with a document management system after settling them for records purposes and monitoring as well. Now that I have the whole house to manage, it really is imperative that I’m organized with our stuffs.
LOVE.
I’m feeling a little sentimental today as I browsed my old digiscrap layouts. Here’s one of my favorite pregnancy layouts I did that expressed perfectly what I was thinking and feeling at 28 weeks.
I really should take a break from work and digiscrap once in a while. I miss the triumphant feeling and satisfaction after seeing the masterpiece that I painstakingly made for a number of hours.

Little A is 2!
Every mom in the world wish nothing but the best for their children.
Today, as my son turns 2, my prayer is exactly outlined in Rachel Aldous’ song: A Mother’s Prayer.
A Mother’s Prayer (HANNAH’S SONG)
Verse:
My sweet baby on loan from above
no better treasure could I more love
I stand here beside your bed as I pray
I lay my hand on your head and I say:
Chorus:
May you grow up to serve Him
all of your days
May He lead you and guide you
in all of your ways
May His hand bless your future with
friendships that last
May you cherish your youth
and not grow up too fast
Verse:
I stare in wonder at your tiny frame
Just to think that God knows you by name
He knows every hair on your beautiful head
He knows all your thoughts before they are said
Chorus:
May you grow up to serve Him
all of your days
May He lead you and guide you
in all of your ways
May His hand bless your future with
friendships that last
May you cherish your youth
and not grow up too fast
Prayer:
May God grant you peace
in the midst of a storm
May God give you strength even
when youre forlorn
May you answer the door when
Jesus comes knocking
May wisdom guide you when
your mouth is talkin
May discretion protect you
and keep you pure
May you never stumble
or fall for a lure
May your heart remain humble
to the very end
May uprightness and truth
be what you defend
May the world not ensnare
or change who you are
May the light that’s within you
shine like the stars
May angels surround you
body, spirit, mind
May favor and peace be yours to find
May rejection and pain
never reach you
May your spirit grow bold
for what youre called to
As you rest in Gods care I will rest too
Knowing that Jesus is watching over you
Amen

Education Plans.
My son will celebrate his 2nd birthday in less than a month. In a blink of an eye and without us knowing, he’ll soon start schooling. This, I think is a gentle reminder that we need to go over and revisit how we are faring with our savings for his education. We didn’t get him a college educational plan fearing the instability and with all the recent fiasco involving these pre-need plans companies. Instead, we opened a trust fund and at the same time thinking of venturing into stock or precious metal investment for an added security on our future finances.
