PostHeaderIcon Music Summer Class

If you are looking for a worthwhile activity to get your kid busy with this summer, enrolling them in a music class is a smart idea.  Check out Toddlers Unlimited’s (4F Festival Supermall) offering wherein they have a Dance Class for ages 3-8, Guitar Lessons for 6-14 years old, Voice Lessons for 7-14 years old and Piano Lessons for ages 7-14 years old.  The summer program is entitled “Unleash the Star in You” and it aims to build up a child’s confidence and hone his skills in dancing, singing and playing musical instruments.  This is a good foundation and enhance one’s interest and skills in music to a higher level.  With an Ableton Software they may even come up with a composition of their own.

This is ongoing until the 31st of May.  For more details, contact Mariel Santos-09151271074.

PostHeaderIcon “Love Earth”

The last activity that my son’s school had before the school year ended was centered on the theme “Love Earth”.  Each of students had planted a sunflower seedling and they brought it home last Valentine’s Day.  At such a young age, it’s so nice to see my 4-year old son having a sense of responsibility for his plant.  He constantly checks the plant whenever he steps out of the house and makes sure that it has been watered regularly.  He also addressed it as “my plant” and even takes pride to let his playmates know that he has his own plant.

This inspired us to have more plants in our backyard.  We bought a few wooden planters and transferred some branches of the existing ones we have to grow more.  Our helper also planted some vegetable seedlings and herbs like tomatoes, pandan, sili and oregano.  My son was so delighted seeing all these greens in our backyard.  This is our own little way of showing our love for the earth.

PostHeaderIcon The Mind Museum

A few friends of mine have already gone to the newly opened The Mind Museum in at Taguig.  They said that they had a pleasurable experience and their kids enjoyed the museum visit.  I hope I can bring my preschooler there one of these days so that he’ll learn more and be fascinated about science.  The museum has lots of interactive “minds-on” and hands-on exhibit so that kids (and grown ups, too) will learn more about science in a fun and more interesting way.

PostHeaderIcon Exclusive Network of Physicians

We want nothing but the best for our kids.  That’s why we just not entrust their health to anybody else.  We scout for the best doctors or Pediatricians so that we’d have peace of mind and assured that they are very well taken care of.  At times that they get sick, there are instances when they are referred to Pediatric specialists so that the child’s sickness is specifically addressed.   In the US, doctors can make the necessary referrals through checking out Doximity.  Doximity is an exclusive network for physicians where their profiles that include their education and specialization are published.  They can locate each other, send HIPAA compliant text messages, send faxes from their smartphones and exchange private contact information. Martin Blume DO is among the physicians whose profile is listed in there.  You can check out his clinical areas of interest, specialty, languages spoken and publications appended from PubMed in his profile.
