Every mom in the world wish nothing but the best for their children.

Today, as my son turns 2, my prayer is exactly outlined in Rachel Aldous’ song: A Mother’s Prayer.

I read about Jacey’s birthday facts at Chikai’s blog and I thought of trying out with little A’s birthdate too.

He’s Flooch. Asher’s party host, magician, ventriloquist. The kids adore him and the adults, too, had so much fun.

Now that the birthday party is over, I suddenly miss the party preps and even the pressure and stress that comes along with it. What I love most about event or party preps is the brainstorming part when you think of plans and things that will make the party unique. I confess, I’m a bit OC when it comes to such so I really exert much thoughts and time on every intricate details of the party. I don’t settle with just the ordinary or regular stuffs..as much as possible I go with the extraordinary that will make the party fun and will be remembered by the guests. So what I do, I constantly research.  Big thanks to the internet, I scoured a lot of unique ideas that I was able to pull off and apply in my little A’s first birthday.  I can’t wait to plan for his next party.

I just received the cd that the photographer sent me for the birthday pics of little A…and yes you guessed it right. I’m currently uploading them onto my Flickr gallery and I don’t know if it’ll take me another year to finish because there are tons of them. When I say tons..I literally mean hundreds of them. I just wish that my internet connection cooperates with me or else, it would really take me years before I get to publish (and share) them all.

Anyway, while the upload runs, I might as well check out the photos taken by the husband using our very own Nikky. He took shots during the party too so that’s also another set added to the upload list. Also included are the pictures taken while little A or should I say, while I open the gifts after the party. The little one had more fun with the gift wrappers and boxes than the gifts. And so while I unwrap tons of toys and clothes (typical birthday gifts), he busied himself tearing and waving the wrappers. I’ll share the pictures in another post.
