PostHeaderIcon No Pain, No Gain

juggling mom Pardon for the lack of updates here, this work-at-home mama is loaded with mountain high of obligations—both online and offline.  I’m really getting exhausted and stressed these days that I’m seemingly needing a great acne wash from www.bestacnefacewash.net with all the breakouts I’m experiencing.  I’m not complaining though, in fact, I’m thankful that I’m blessed with a number of income earning opportunities that have been keeping me glued to my laptop more than 12 hours a day.  Being sleep deprived is just the price that I pay but as they always say…no pain, no gain.

PostHeaderIcon OC-ness (?)

blog-blogging I don’t know if it’s being OC or not but most of the time when I’m blogging, I’m more spontaneous if I incorporate photos to my posts.  I feel like more ideas and thoughts are coming out.  And I think that my readers (if there are any) will have a clearer understanding of my topic and appreciate the post more.  Honestly, I am that way as a reader.  Usually, I just skim through my Google Reader in which I’m subscribed to hundreds of blogs but really pause for a while and read closely whenever my eyes come across interesting pictures.  I can really get particular on such just like, perhaps, before I take the safest diet pills if ever I need or I would.  I might do an intensive research first and make a compilation of clippings and articles about it.  Whether it’s being OC or not, I think there’s nothing wrong with being into details and a “segurista”.

PostHeaderIcon Continuous Downpour of Work.

Even though I have been deprived of internet connection this recent week, I feel so blessed still for all the online assignments that have been arriving in my online “work tray”.  As previously mentioned, I’m a freelance writer and my work consists of writing reviews to be published on blogs.  Even though these tasks come with deadlines, the good side of this is that I can work around my timelines.  A few have tight deadlines but most of them provide a longer turnaround time which I can relaxingly do anytime.  The pay is quite good, too.  That is why aside from setting aside for the household budget, I’m also saving up for a startup money to invest on precious metals.  I’ve always heard that buying gold is a good means to diversify one’s asset.  As a startup, one effective and promising way is to buy gold coins.  Just read from US Gold Bureau that it’s always the perfect time to do so because the yellow metal retains its value no matter what.

PostHeaderIcon Uploading.

I’m feeling good right now because I’m about to end the day satisfied and fulfilled. I’m just a few percentage shy from successfully uploading all of our holiday pictures. For a great procrastinator as me, being able to accomplish my set goals for the day is such a big feat really. So the husband must be proud because he’s been nagging me actually to upload the photos since the other day.

PostHeaderIcon Back To Work.

It’s a back to work mode for everyone and that includes me. So much for the slacking so here I am trying to organize tasks and accomplish that that have been delayed for so long. The first on my list is the task of uploading our holiday pictures before doing all my blogging tasks. I think it’s the OC-ness in me again that’s kicking in…I really just can’t journal without including the photos I’m blogging about.
