Book Recommendation for Work At Home Moms
The Chicken Soup For The Soul Power Moms is a compilation of inspirational, poignant, humorous and witty stories from mothers who are in the same boat as mine. This book is about and for work at home moms. We are called the Power Moms because multi tasking and juggling together mommy and work duties is such a tremendous feat.
This book features topics on making the challenging decision to stay home, learning to juggle, finding joy and self-esteem in everyday moments, creating at-home jobs and businesses and my most favorite part, the perspectives from grateful husbands and children.
So aside from references about cla tonalin reviews, this book should be a staple in your bookshelf and of course, be read amidst one’s overly busy juggling acts.
Books as Christmas Gifts
Christmas is just less than 3 months away. For some, they want to avoid the Christmas rush that they have already started shopping gifts for their loved ones and Godchildren as early as now. In our case, we have started our Christmas gift shopping for the kids when we went to the Manila Book Fair last month. We decided that instead of toys and clothes that kids will easily outgrow, we’ll be buying books like boardbooks, coloring and activity books, bestsellers paperbacks and textbooks to give away this Holidays. These are practical, fun, long lasting and best of all educational. It’s something that kids will treasure and use for a very long time.
Safe Haven
I was reading a research article about phentermine when I suddenly remembered out of the blue this book. I declare that a copy of this MUST end at my growing library of Nicholas Sparks books before this year ends. I have a complete selection of his works which I started collecting when I was still in College, I think. My Christmas wish list always includes the latest book released on that year so mostly, these books were gifts or hand me downs from my sisters.
So for this year, Oh I’m sure you’ll be handed to me neatly gift-wrapped in red and green soon. I can’t wait.
The Smart Mom’s Guide to Raising Your Preschooler Book
Parenthood is a constant process of learning and one way of enriching this experience is by reading enlightening parenting magazines and books just like those published by Summit Books’ Smart Parenting. I have all three of their books:
1.) The Smart Mom’s Guide to Pregnancy and Baby’s First Year
2.) The Smart Mom’s Guide to the Toddler Years
3.) The Smart Parenting Yaya Manual
I find all three really informative and with my toddler son who’ll be a Preschooler soon, this book “The Smart Mom’s Guide to Raising Your Preschooler” will surely be a great reference. I expect it to be as comprehensive as the apidexin reviews I’m reading now. The said book is filled with games, books, snack recipes and lots of fun activities for the preschooler kids. I wonder if it also has a listing of the different pre-schools in the metropolis. That would really be of great help to first time preschooler moms just like me. This book is available at all leading bookstores nationwide for just Php 299. I better grab a copy for myself soon!
He’s Reading.
Little A’s wit at this stage really never fails to amaze me. I just bought him 2 My First Words Books and a box of animal flash cards last Friday and guess what, he has already mastered and can correctly associate 20 out of 32 pictures of animals with their names (and vice versa). He has certainly deepened his vocabulary these past few weeks and he can even now convey his thoughts in two to three word sentences. He can now count (recite) from 1 to 15 with a little help on 11 and 12. I’m now coaching him his ABCs but so far he can just recite from A to D. He can follow and pronounce each letter though when guided. What’s funny is that whenever he sees words with big letters, he spells them while pointing to the letters and he goes like "A..B..C…eben, eyt, nay, ten!" He mixes his letters and numbers. LOL. But at least, he knows already the concept of reading, right?
